Meet
The Author

Since he was a teen, the author has wanted to write an enjoyable Saturday-and-Sunday-afternoon novel that one might read on the weekend. To achieve his dream, he took creative writing courses at universities such as the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, and Burlington Community College in Vermont. However, it wouldn’t be for years after college that he would write Inescapable Desires, For the Love of Peace, and Elapsing into Love. This series started because he was concerned for the violence, crime, and the killing of our planet that happens on a daily basis. It was everyday life that was the invisible force driving him to write these three novels. After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, his accomplishments in the military were huge. From being a recipient of a Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation for participating in drug operations in the Caribbean to two letters of Appreciation from the USS Forrestal (CVN-59). After the Navy, he spent years backpacking the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail, the Long Trail in Vermont, and the International Appalachian Trail that wanders into Canada. The author has even hiked in the mountains of Norway. To date, he has backpacked well over 14,000 miles across the United States. Today, he spends his time writing and walking with his Coonhound (Birch) on the trails around his home. His next novel Heaven's Gate Beyond the Threshold is expected in the summer of 2026

Mission

Our Commitment to Readers

To Inspire Reflection Through Stories of Humanity, Love, and Peace

Our mission is to create thought-provoking stories that entertain while encouraging readers to look deeper at the world around them—and at themselves.

Through the Alpha Series, Christopher Rivers explores some of humanity’s most difficult questions: Why does violence continue? Can people change when faced with their own destructive behavior? What happens when the desire for peace comes into conflict with the methods used to achieve it? And can love, compassion, and human connection offer a different path forward?

From Inescapable Desires to For the Love of Peace and Elapsing into Love, the series combines adventure, romance, nature, conflict, and philosophical questions about humanity’s relationship with one another and the planet.

Christopher’s mission is not simply to tell a story. It is to create stories that stay with the reader long after the final page—stories that entertain, challenge, and invite conversation.

Through his writing, he hopes to remind readers of the value of love, peace, compassion, personal responsibility, and our connection to the natural world.

Read. Reflect. Question. Imagine a different world.
